How to set an assignment
- Log in.
- Click "Website Admin" at the top-right of the screen
- Click the "Modules" box.
- You will see the list of modules that you have permission to edit. Next to the one you want to set an assignment for, click "Select Module".
- Click "Manage Exams".
- Click "add exam", then:
- Enter a name for the assignment (which is what will be displayed);
- select an SMSTC administrative name from the drop-down box, according to which assessment it is within the semester;
- under "is final grade?" select "No";
- indicate whether students should submit their assignments electronically;
- type in a submission deadline in the format specified, or use the date-picker tool;
- select a mark type from the drop-down box indicating whether students will receive a numerical mark, a letter grade or text feedback;
- now scroll to the bottom of the screen and click "Add exam".
- Remember to also upload a module material document containing the questions for the assignment.
